One man, several careers, and a lifetime of colorful experiences have prepared him well to serve our community from the Superior Court bench.

I have been a San Bernardino County resident for the past forty years.  I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that uniquely qualifies me to be a Superior Court Judge.  I am an Air Force veteran and former first responder.  I have seen the violence on the streets and understand the difficulties my fellow first responders encounter.

I have been practicing in the field of family law for the past sixteen years.  I have received awards for my “very high legal ability and ethical standards” the last three years in a row.  I have given lectures on Family Law to other attorneys and have been published by the Court of Appeals twice on landmark family law cases.  I have lobbied in Sacramento to change the laws to protect our children.

Just like my opponent, I am hard on crime.  I worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney Office right out of law school only to see our children turning to a cycle of crime.  We need to break that cycle and get our children moving in the right direction.  That takes both parents being involved.  It all starts in Family Law Court.

We need to elect a Judge that has the ability and understanding to work one of the hardest judicial assignments, Family Court.  I have that ability and currently assist the Family Law bench by substituting in when a Judge is not available.  I have been doing that for ten years and have developed the compassion and skills to be a successful Superior Court Judge.

In my practice, I mediate case outside of court to achieve a result that allows both parent s to be an active part of their child’s life thus giving their children the ability to become valuable members of our community.
